For that it is perfect. I thought that the 11.6" screen might be hard to read but its fine for my needs. Is the keyboard comfortable? Just as an aside, software blot is the cause of many complaints. A few years ago a four Gig Ram, 16 Gig Storage and a dual core processor of 1.6 to 2.6 GHz was pretty much top of the line. I have been using it for about a week with no problems. I thought that the 11.6" screen might be hard to read but its fine for my needs. I can't speak to longevity or reliability but. More - To begin with I am an IT professional so I feel very confident using technology. Will I need a laptop cooling pad?
